Friendly Kitchen 5K Calls On 3CRP

The Friendly Kitchen 5K in Concord, NH on Friday September 12 at 5:00 PM is 3CRP's latest race. The Race Director and the main sponsor, Delta Dental, appreciate 3CRP's laid back style, seen at their Spring Ahead 3 Miler back in March, and called on us for help with their race. Proceeds go to a very worthy cause - the only Food Kitchen in Concord.

3CRP Picks Up AFHB 2009 5K

The Race Director for the very successful Architecture For Humanity Boston 5K has hired 3CRP to help with the race as it continues to grow each year. Almost 500 entered in 2008 and more are expected next year.

 

3CRP Helps Architects With 2008 Convention 5K

3CRP came through for the American Institute Of Architecture 2008 Convention 5K --- providing architects from around the USA and the world with a fun and scenic 5K on the Esplanade in Boston. The finish line was at Arthur Fiedler's nose!!! Almost 100 architects enjoyed their running tour on the Charles River.

Eastern New England Trail Race Series

The Moose On The Loose 10 Mile Trail Race & Relay has been selected as a charter member of the Eastern New England Trail Race Series - a series of 20+ challengin trail races in Eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. This series is based on the wildly popular Gran Tree Series managed by the Western Mass Athleyic Club. The ENETRS is designed to give runners on this side of New England more opportunities to run in their preferred type of races - over the hills and through the woods!!!

3CRP Adds 3 Races To Schedule

3CRP is adding 3 new races to our 2008 schedule: The Feel Good Farm Trail Races in July (date TDB) in Lydenboro, NH will be full 3CRP productions. We will be scouting the trails in next weekend, but are planning on 2 distance of approximately 7K and 14K. The 7K will be a relatively flat and easy race, while the 14K will run the 7K loop and then head out for a very tough and hilly 7K more. The other 2 new races will be cooperative efforts by the race organizers and 3CRP. They are the Windham Flat & Fast 5K in Windham, NH on June 1 and the Spring Chicken Run 5K on June 15 in Nashua, NH.

 

3CRP Loses Doug Flutie 5K

Despite helping the Doug Flutie Foundation raise over $48,000 in 2007 on their Eastern Bank Doug Flutie Jr 5K Road Race, we will not be working on their 2008 race as they hired a different race production firm this year. 3CRP was a subcontractor on the race in 2007 and the prime contractor did not win the bid to produce this year's race. While not certain, we believe a combination of a power glitch last year that delayed the posting of the complete results and a much lower bid in 2008 by one of their competitors was the cause. We wish the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation the best of luck on their 2008 race and are confident that all their runners will enjoy the great course that 3CRP designed for them in 2007.

3C Race Productions will be producing 3 races in 2008 for the Nashua Police Athletic League at Mine Falls Park in Nashua, NH. Each race will offer the choice of 3K and 5K courses and will be geared towards youth and adults alike. Nashua PAL is working with a number og great sponsors to make this race series a great addition to the New Hampshire running calendar.

3C Race Productions will host our first ever snowshoe race - the Horse Hill 7K in beautiful Horse Hill Nature Preserve in Merrimack, New Hampshire. We have just received our permit and will post more information and the race application shortly.

3CRP Teams Up With Souhegan Valley Lions Club On The
Peanut Butter Chip Chase 5K

3C Race Productions will be working with the Souhegan Valley Lions Club on the 30th Annual Peranut Butter Chip Chase 5K in Temple, New Hampshire on New Year's Day 2008. 3CRP will be contributing our race management and timing skills to the race over the next few years to grow the race up to 250+ runners. The Peanut Butter Chip Chase has a long history in Southern New Hampshire, but it's numbers have dropped from 175+ in the 90's and early 2000's down to an average of 115 over the past 3 years. By teaming up woth the Souhegan Valley Lions Club, we hope to bring the race back up to it's past numbers and beyond.

3C Race Productions, in conjunction with Yankee Timing & Race Management, helped the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation For Autism raise over $48,000 by co-producing the 2007 Eastern Bank Doug Flutie Jr Foundation 5K Road Race. It was a great day for 3CRP as we had our biggest field ever - 836 runners & walkers!!!

2008 Frequent Racers Earn 3CRP Wind Jackets

Starting in 2008 3CRP will start awarding runners who complete 5 or more 3CRP events a 3CRP Wind Jacket --- complete with our logo embroidered on the front and the logos of all our 2008 races on the back. They will be great looking, comfortable, and very useful. We will also be outfitting all our race workers with them.

 

3CRP Teams With Yankee Timing To Produce 8th Annual
Eastern Bank Doug Flutie Jr Foundation 5K Road Race

3C Race Productions has been hired by Yankee Timing as a subcontractor to help produce the 8th Annual Eastern Bank Doug Flutie Jr Foundation 5k Road Race. This race has attracted fields of between 1,000 and 1,800 runners over it's 8 year history and the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation has the confidence in our team to produce another top-quality event. 3CRP is in charge of the race course, race day registration and number pickup, athlete's village, and goodie bag production.

 

3CRP Race Production Biz Taking Off!!!

In addition to producing our own events, 3C Race Productions can produce races for other organizations. Our first race for hire was on August 3, 2007 - the IDAA Sereni-Tea Party 5K in Boston. We poroduced this private race of 135 runners and walkers for an international convention of doctors that was held in Boston. In addition it looks like we will be co-producing a major race near Boston in the Fall --- a race with a 7 year history of attracting 1,000-1,800 runners and walkers. We are also close to signing a contract to produce a race next Spring for a Triple A sports franchise in the area, and have been contacted by several other groups looking for Professional Race Production Services.
